The structure includes a 13’ tall basement. The structure includes cantilevered bays, monumental stairs, clerestories and a two level atrium spine. The building sits on spread footing foundation. The structure is designed for seismic loads per the IBC 2003 code.

Historic bay window limestone was re-set and window interfaces were re-flashed and caulked. Our scope of work for the master plan going forward involves a 5-story addition to the west side and a 1-story addition to the south wing of the Michigan Avenue building. The design and drawings are currently in-progress.
